Square Halo Books presents a
Classical Christian Fine Arts Symposium
March 19–20, 2010

The fine arts should be a crucial part of any education. Sadly, schools across the country are cutting fine arts budgets. Christian schools have even greater reasons to inculcate both a love for and the highest level of skills in the fine arts. Too often, Christian schools fail to have a vision for the fine arts and end up viewing them as either irrelevant or non-essential. In order to strengthen our vision for the fine arts, Square Halo Books has partnered with Veritas Academy to assemble a number of prominent Christian thinkers (including Square Halo authors Ted Prescott, Karen Mulder, Suzannah Norris and Ned Bustard) to share their thoughts on the visual arts and music, to discuss the place of the fine arts in classical Christian education, and to chart a course for the future. To register, mail in the form on the brochure you can download here. Note: Space is limited—there is only room for 50 attendees.

a saint. Square Halo Books is devoted to publishing works that present
contextually sensitive biblical studies, and practical instruction consistent
with the Doctrines of the Reformation. The goal of Square Halo Books is
to provide materials useful for encouraging and equipping the saints.
